BGHS Back to School Information

The school day starts at 7:50 a.m. and ends at 2:32 p.m.  Students may enter the building at 7:00 a.m. and students are to leave the building by 2:45 p.m. each day unless they are participating in a supervised school-related activity.

Back to School Days will be August 10-13 from 8:00-3:00 p.m. (get student schedule, pay fees, meet with counselor, tour building, take school picture, etc.). No appointment time is necessary.

• Monday, August 10 - Seniors
• Tuesday, August 11 - Juniors
• Wednesday, August 12 - Sophomores
• Thursday, August 13 - Freshmen

BGHS Open House: Tuesday, August 18 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

This will be the final opportunity for students and parents to tour the building and meet the teachers prior to school starting.

Freshmen Success Day - Wednesday, August 19

• The first day of school for freshmen will be August 19; this is for freshmen only!
• Activities will be planned to help welcome and acclimate incoming 9th graders to the building

First Day of School (all students grades 9-12 in school) - Thursday, August 20
